Philadelphia Area MUFON Conference

The next four day, today included, it’s the Philadelphia Area MUFON Conference.

The UFO conference is being held the at the Sheraton Bucks County Hotel in Langhorne and boasts strong speaker schedule!

Here’s some information about the some of the speakers:

Peter Robbins | An investigative writer best known for his work in UFO studies, as a researcher, investigator, writer, lecturer, activist and author. Speaking venues have included The National Press Club, Washington D.C.; Cornell University, Ithaca, NY; The Julliard School and the School of Visual Arts, New York City, and Boston’s Cambridge Hospital Psychiatric Wing, at the invitation of Dr. Mack, Wing co-founder, Pulitzer Prize winning author and Professor of Psychiatry, Harvard.

Sue Swiatek | A State Director she states that Virginia, like every state, is a microcosm, a representative slice of the entire UFO phenomenon. She’s discussing some of her most compelling cases that describe close encounters and a brush with the Men-in-Black phenomenon.

Karyn Dolan | Has been involved in the UFO research community since 2000, but has had a lifelong interest in the paranormal. In 2007 she began hosting Through the Keyhole, a weekly program on the Paranormal Radio Network, in which she discusses cutting-edge research into cryptozoology, paranormal research, demonic possession, alien abductions. Karyn served as Media Relations Director of the International UFO Congress in Laughlin, NV, and has lectured at UFO and paranormal conferences across the country.

Stan Gordon | A former PA State Director for the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON), and was its first recipient In 1987 of the MUFON Meritorious Achievement in a UFO investigation Award. Gordon has been involved with the investigation of thousands of mysterious encounters from across Pennsylvania. He has appeared on numerous local and network news and documentary shows, including the Syfy Channel, Discovery Channel, History Channel, and Fox News Channel. He has been featured on many television shows, including Unsolved Mysteries, Sightings, Inside Edition, A Current Affair and Creepy Canada.

Travis Walton | He claims that in 1975, while working as a logger in Arizona, he and several co-workers came across a UFO in the forest which shot a beam of light at Travis. Frightened, his friends fled the scene, when they returned Walton was gone. Walton recalled waking up on the side of the road, he thought only a few hours had past, but he had actually been missing for 5 days. He later recalled being on the craft and the strange creatures that were there with him. His story was made into a movie called Fire in the Sky.

And there are more speakers like Robert Swiatek, Peter Robbins, Grant Cameron, Richard Dolan, Steven Bassett and Linda Berry.
